In the terrible light of its destruction you can make out a terrifying collection of humanoid shapes in the treeline by the Edge, eyes bright and frantic. Each holds a bloodstained Ozark in their brume-rotted hands, a fetid shape rising up behind them, sloughing off flesh until the broken human beneath is revealed. The cracked smile, the deranged eyes, the seeping crown-shaped wound upon his forehead...
